Man Charged In Child-Porn Sting
WHEATON, Ill. (STMW) -- An undercover Internet sting conducted in west suburban Wheaton resulted in the arrest of a man on child pornography charges Thursday.
Robert K. Mariani, 27, turned himself in to the DuPage County Sheriff's office Thursday at 10:30 a.m., according to a release from Wheaton police.
He was charged with four counts of aggravated possession of child pornography after an undercover Internet investigation conducted by police, the release said.
Mariani was released after posting 10 percent of a $300,000 bond, the release said.
