Man Carrying Handguns Arrested In Loop During Hawks Rally

CHICAGO (CBS) -- A south suburban man was arrested Friday after Chicago Police noticed him acting suspiciously and he admitted he had a gun along the Blackhawks parade route in the Loop.
Roger Harrison, 37, of he 3100 block of Holden Circle in Matteson, was charged with two felony counts of unlawful use of a weapon and one misdemeanor count of cannibis possession, police said.
Officers arrested him at 10:10 a.m. in the 100 block of North LaSalle Street, police said. A search revealed a second handgun in his backpack.
Police stated that there was no indication Harrison was planning anything.
Harrison is expected in bond court Saturday.
