Man Arrested For Approaching Students On Suburban Campus
NAPERVILLE, Ill. (STMW) - Police arrested a Naperville man Saturday on charges of repeatedly approaching students on the campus of North Central College and making inappropriate comments.
According to the police report, Steven Lawrence Biagini, 54, of the 400 block of White Oak Drive, had been asked twice by North Central security to leave the campus, where he had been looking for support from students to start a class on politics and conspiracy theories. Naperville police were called and also gave Biagini a warning, but he returned again at 4:05 p.m. Saturday and was subsequently arrested for criminal trespass to land.
"He mentioned the Kennedys, he mentioned Oliver Stone and Erin Brockovich," said Naperville police Cmdr. Mike Anders. "It wasn't a clear discussion. These were just some of the things he mentioned to the officer."
Biagini posted a $150 bond and is schedule to appear Nov. 23 at DuPage County Circuit Court in Wheaton.
