Man Arrested At Midway For Trying To Get Gun Past Security

CHICAGO (STMW) -- A southwest suburban man was charged after he allegedly tried bringing a handgun onto a plane at Midway Airport on Friday morning.
About 9:40 a.m., Matthew Bysina, 23, had a handgun in his bag as he went through security at Midway, police News Affairs alleged.
Bysina, of the 200 block of South Woodrow St. in southwest suburban Manhattan, allegedly told officers that he forgot the gun was in the bag, police News Affairs said.
Bysina was cuffed and charged with a felony count of boarding an aircraft with a weapon, police News Affairs said.
