Man Arrested After Father Stabbed In Morgan Park
CHICAGO (STMW) -- A man is in custody after his father was stabbed to death early Sunday in the Morgan Park neighborhood on the Far South Side, police said.
The father, 48, was stabbed during a domestic dispute in the 11400 block of South Rockwell Street at 2:47 a.m., police News Affairs Officer Ron Gaines said.
He was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn where he later died, Gaines said.
The Cook County Medical Examiner's office identified the victim as Kenneth Johnson.
Police have arrested the victim's 24-year-old son in connection with the slaying, said Gaines.
Area South detectives are investigating.
