Man Accused Of Sexually Assaulting In-Law On Thanksgiving
PLAINFIELD TWP., Ill. (STMW) - A southwest suburban man was charged with sexual assault for allegedly fondling his 19-year-old in-law after he became intoxicated during a Thanksgiving celebration.
Will County Sheriff's spokeswoman Kathy Hoffmeyer said deputies were called shortly before 4:30 a.m. Thursday to the 13900 block of Oakdale Drive, where Jose R. Aguilera resides.
"The victim said Aguilera had gone out drinking with another relative the night before and came home early in the morning," Hoffmeyer said. "She awakened to him climbing into her bed and touching her."
The girl reportedly punched Aguilera in the face and called police. Aguilera allegedly told deputies he was too intoxicated to know who he was in bed with and denied touching the woman. He was booked into the county jail on a charge of criminal sexual assault.
