Man, 74, Accused Of Spiking Juice, Sexual Abuse
ELGIN, Ill. (CBS) -- A 74-year-old Elgin man has been charged with putting sleeping pills into his female home health caretakers' fruit juice, and sexually abusing one of them afterward.
Police said they nabbed Raymond Kvacik after an undercover officer was sent to his Elgin home and saw him spike the woman's drink.

Raymond Kvacik, of the 100 block of South State Street in Elgin, was charged Wednesday with two felony counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse and three counts of unlawful delivery of a controlled substance.
Bond for Kvacik was set Wednesday at $150,000 on the charges.
Police said they were first alerted to Kvacik's activities last Thursday, when a 56-year-old woman who is a home health nurse from a Wheaton-based service reported that she had gone to Kvacik's home that morning for the first time.
While there, according to the woman, Kvacik offered her a glass of orange juice several times, which she eventually accepted. When he went into the kitchen to get the drink, she saw him put something other than orange juice into the glass, the woman reported. She said she did not drink from the glass, but instead poured the contents down the sink drain.
Kvacik told her later, according to the report, that he only needed someone to keep him company.
Before leaving, the woman took two of the pills from the cupboard that she believed came from the bottle he'd used to allegedly spike the juice, police reported. After staying at the home for her two-hour shift, she reported the incident to the home health service company, which alerted Elgin police, reports stated.
After being told about Kvacik, Elgin police sent the undercover officer to his home on Tuesday, and he was taken into custody after the officer saw him place pills in her fruit drink, police said.
According to court documents, Kvacik drugged another home health care worker with the sleep medication, identified as Zolpidem, on Feb. 14 and had inappropriate sexual contact with the victim while she was unable to give consent.
Kvacik was given a March 1 court date, but indicated to Kane County Judge David Kliment Wednesday that he was due to have surgery in a few months. "That may have to be postponed," Kliment said, due to the nature of the charges against Kvacik.
