Man, 60, Charged With Sexually Abusing, Photographing Girl
JOLIET, Ill. (STMW) - A 60-year-old man is being held on $1 million bond for allegedly sexually abusing a girl during the past two years.
Police Chief Mike Trafton said a woman found naked images of her daughter, now 7, and confronted Dale E. O'Brien, who she knew.
O'Brien allegedly admitted he had taken the photos with his cell phone.
The woman called police and allowed them to search her computer.
O'Brien, of the 1000 block of South Surrey Court in Joliet, was arrested Thursday on charges of predatory criminal sexual assault and aggravated child pornography.
Trafton said that after O'Brien was arrested he admitted abusing the victim.
