Man, 21, Charged With Sex Abuse Of Teen
NILES, Ill. (STMW) -- An underage drinking party at a north suburban Glenview hotel Feb. 27 resulted in charges against a 21-year-old Niles man, who police said had sexual contact there with a teenage girl.
Roland Moji Martinez, of the 7900 block of North Caldwell Avenue in Niles, was charged with aggravated criminal sexual abuse, renting a hotel room for consumption of alcohol by minors and three counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
Bond for Martinez was set at $50,000. He is next scheduled to appear in court March 8.
Police said two teenage boys walking on the 4200 block of West Lake Avenue admitted to officers who stopped them that they had consumed alcohol in a room at the Courtyard by Marriott, 1801 Milwaukee Ave. in Glenview
Officers found Martinez in the room with the intoxicated girl, who was between 13 and 17 years old.
One of the boys officers had stopped was issued tickets for minor in possession of alcohol, interfering with a police officer and violating curfew. The other was issued a ticket for curfew violation.
All three youths were turned over the custody of their parents.
