Man, 18, Wounded In South Side Shooting
CHICAGO (STMW) - A man was wounded in a possible drive-by shooting Wednesday night in the South Shore neighborhood on the South Side.
The man, 18, was in the 1700 block of East 71st Street when he was shot about 6:30 p.m., police News Affairs Officer Ron Gaines said.
Paramedics took him to Jackson Park Hospital in good condition with a gunshot wound to the leg, according to Fire Media Affairs.
Police couldn't immediately say what led to the shooting, but authorities think it may have been a drive-by attack, Gaines said.
Area Central detectives are investigating.
