Male Critically Wounded In Little Village Shooting
CHICAGO (STMW) - A male was critically wounded Tuesday night during a shooting in the Little Village neighborhood.
The shooting occurred about 7:30 p.m. in the 3500 block of South California Avenue, police News Affairs Officer Daniel O'Brien said.
The male, whose age was not immediately available, was shot in the chest, O'Brien said. He was taken in critical condition to Mount Sinai Hospital.
Wentworth Area detectives are investigating.
According to unconfirmed dispatch reports, the male was between 15- to 17-years old.
