LVH Sets Bears' Over/Under Wins Total At 8
(CBS) Expectations from the experts have been set for the 2014 Chicago Bears.
On Sunday afternoon, the LVH sports book in Las Vegas released its wins totals for next season, and the Bears' line has been set at eight. That number may come as a surprise for Bears fans, as Chicago returns all its key parts on an elite offense, revamped its defensive line in free agency and addressed a few other needs in the draft.
But doubts surely still remain over the Bears' defense, which set franchise records for futility last season and still has question marks at linebacker and both safety spots. So LVH is suggesting another 8-8 season at the outset, which was Chicago's mark last year after its preseason over/under wins total was set at 8.5.
Elsewhere in the NFC North, the Packers' wins total was set at 10, the Lions' was eight and the Vikings' was six.
After meeting in the Super Bowl in February, the Broncos and Seahawks each have the highest expectations. Their wins totals were projected at 11 each.
