Loyola falls short to Bradley in NIT
PEORIA, Ill. (AP) — Duke Deen had 18 points in Bradley's 74-62 win against Loyola Chicago on Wednesday night in the NIT.
Deen shot 6 for 14 (2 for 5 from 3-point range) and 4 of 5 from the free-throw line for the Braves (23-11). Darius Hannah scored 17 points and added eight rebounds. Malevy Leons had 14 points and shot 3 of 6 from the field and 8 for 8 from the line.
Braden Norris led the Ramblers (23-10) in scoring, finishing with 17 points and two steals. Dame Adelekun added 10 points and seven rebounds for Loyola Chicago. Miles Rubin also had seven points and seven rebounds.
Bradley took the lead with 18:09 left in the first half and did not give it up. Leons led his team in scoring with eight points in the first half to help put them up 36-19 at the break. Deen scored a team-high 11 points in the second half.
