Loop Bank Branch Robbed For Sixth Time
CHICAGO (CBS) -- A Loop bank branch that has been the target of several robberies was hit again Thursday morning by a man wearing a construction vest and scarf, police said.
The robbery happened about 10:30 a.m. at a bank branch at 52 E. Lake St., according to police.
The robber, a black man between 5-foot-10 and 6-foot-1, was wearing a yellow construction vest, tan or brown coat and a scarf around his neck. The same suspect robbed the same bank in January.

He passed a note to a teller and was given an undetermined amount of cash before fleeing on foot east on Lake Street toward Michigan Avenue, police said.
A Chicago Community Bank located at that address has been robbed several times in the past, notably last year when one man, dubbed the "Chronic Bandit," robbed it four times. David E. Gregory was charged in November with one of those robberies after allegedly leaving his demand note -- with a fingerprint -- behind.
This was at least the 35th bank robbery in the Chicago area this year, according to the FBI. In 2011 there were 115.
