Lombardi: Suspensions Unlikely From Bears-Lions Fight
(WSCR) In the wake of the Bears-Lions brawl that led to D.J. Moore's ejection from Sunday's win, one NFL expert doesn't think there will be any suspensions -- just strong fines.
"I think the fines will be heavy, but I don't think suspensions will come," Michael Lombardi of the NFL Network told The Mully and Hanley Show. "I think it'll be difficult to really pin one guy down with a suspension. D.J. Moore obviously retaliated. There's going to be some heavy-duty fines, but I think that fight was more about the Lions' frustration more than anything else. The Lions are frustrated with the way they've played. I think they should be frustrated, and that's what resulted.
