Local Company Wins Lucrative Army Contract
HONOLULU (WBBM) -- A Chicago company has won a lucrative contract from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
As WBBM Newsradio 780's Dave Marsett reports, Walsh RMA Joint Venture of Chicago has been awarded a $37.9 million dollar contract to build a tactical maintenance facility at Schofield Barracks on Oahu.

The Army said it received 13 bids for the job and Walsh RMA was the lowest responsible bidder. Walsh RMA won the contract on Feb. 25.
The project includes parking, a storage building, a hazardous material storage building and a deployment storage building.
