(CBS) Bears legend William "Refrigerator" Perry, a member of the 1985 Super Bowl-winning team, joined WBBM Newsradio's Josh Liss for an interview recently, reflecting on his career, the current NFL, life after football and much more.
Perry was in the news recently July, with word that his Super Bowl ring was going up for auction. It wasn't sold at auction, a source told Liss, and Perry stressed his health is "well." In the last decade or so, Perry has dealt with various health problems, including being diagnosed with Guillain-Barré syndrome, a nerve-inflammation disorder.
Perry is living in his home state of South Carolina now.
"For me, everything is A-OK, and I'm doing great," Perry said.
