Linda Blair Resurrects 'The Exorcist' On Halloween Night
WOODRIDGE, Ill. (CBS) -- Imagine spending your Halloween night with one of the scariest characters in film history.
Some film fans did just that Monday, during a screening of the 1973 classic, "The Exorcist," at the Hollywood Boulevard Cinema in southwest suburban Woodridge. The star of the movie, Linda Blair, was on hand to sign autographs and meet fans.
Who could forget the levitating little girl she portrayed, spewing hate and green pea soup?
"It's a film that's an enormous cross to because many years ago, of course, people thought, was I really the devil?" Blair told CBS 2's Mike Parker. "It was really interesting to be me at 15 years old."
"The Exorcist" is Jennifer Burns' favorite movie.
"It's not just because of what happens in the film, but some of the things I can relate to in real life," she said.
Such as?
"Paranormal activities," Burns replied.
Blair attended multiple screenings over the weekend.
