Lawsuit: Counselor Working At Archdiocese Molested Boy
CHICAGO (CBS) -- A new sex abuse lawsuit has been filed against the Archdiocese of Chicago, but this one has a twist.
As WBBM Newsradio's Bernie Tafoya reports, a counselor working for the Chicago Archdiocese is accused in the lawsuit.

The man claims William Groendyke, repeatedly sexually assaulted him from 1977 through 1983 during therapy and counseling at the Catholic Family Consultation Service at 155 E. Superior St., according to the suit filed in Cook County Circuit Court.
The suit claims the Archdiocese received reports that Groendyke had inappropriate sexual conduct with minors, but failed to prevent him from having access to minor children.
The suit claims the Archdiocese also failed to follow up on reports of sexual abuse by Groendyke, and did not notify the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services or other authorities.
In 1989, Groendyke was acquitted for the third time of charges he molested a teenage boy he had been advising. He was convicted of contributing to the delinquency of a minor in 1956 in Indiana.
An Archdiocese spokeswoman said she has not yet seen the lawsuit and could not comment.
The suit is seeking more than $100,000.
