Lawmakers Consider Slot Machines At Airports
CHICAGO (CBS) -- Is a touch of Vegas coming to Chicago?
Both airports — O'Hare International Airport and Midway International Airport — would get slot machines under a refreshed gaming bill being debated Wednesday in Springfield, CBS 2 News has learned.
Only ticketed airline passengers could play the slots, which would be located beyond the security perimeters.
No table or card games are part of the plan.
The slots plan is an effort to get an expanded gaming plan to pass in committee. It has been stalled there all this week.
