Law Enforcement Officials Fight For Pre-School Budget
SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WBBM) -- In Springfield Wednesday, the law was doing it's best to lobby for pre-school funding.
As WBBM Newsradio 780's David Roe reports, police chiefs, sheriffs, and state's attorneys from across Illinois gathered in Springfield to tell legislative leaders and lawmakers that they want them to make the state's pre-school program a top priority in next year's budget.
