Latin Kings Behind SW Side Robberies, Police Say
CHICAGO (CBS) -- Police are warning Southwest Side residents of a recent increase in robberies by Latin Kings gang members.
The suspects--who in three of the four robberies were identified as Latin Kings gang members--have stolen bicycles, iPhones, wallets and cash, police said
The robberies happened this month between South Whipple Street and South Christiana Avenue from West 24th Street to West 27th Street, police said.
The suspects are generally described as one to three Hispanic males between 15 and 20 years old, police said. No other details were available.
