Lane Closures On Wacker Drive To Begin Monday
(STMW) -- Partial lane closures are scheduled to begin Monday on Wacker Drive at Lake Shore Drive for bridge repairs.
Starting Monday at 2 a.m. and continuing through June, traffic on the intermediate level of Wacker Drive will be reduced to two lanes in both directions, according to a statement from Chicago Department of Transportation (CDOT). All levels of Wacker Drive will be reduced to one lane in each direction starting March 21.
Motorists should take Michigan Avenue and then Grand Avenue or Randolph Street to get to Lake Shore Drive during construction, CDOT said.
