Lakers Fire Mike Brown
(WSCR) According to multiple reports, the Lakers have fired head coach Mike Brown.
After adding key players Dwight Howard and Steve Nash this offseason, the Lakers have struggled early in the season, falling to a 1-4 record.
Brown was in his second season with the club.
A subsequent report indicates assistant coach Bernie Bickerstaff will coach tonight's game against Golden State but the Lakers will conduct a national search for a long term replacement.
