Lake Co. Museum Almost Finished
CHICAGO (CBS) -- No date for completion has been announced but planners say the new Lake County Museum is almost done.
It's been years in the making and more than half finished. But the Lake County Forest Preserve District's new Bess Bower Dunn Museum isn't quite ready for prime time.
Organizers tell the Daily Herald the Libertyville museum was relocated, renamed and retooled. 80% of the gallery will provide story telling space, classrooms for educators and a research center.
