Kyle Korver
According to multiple sources the Chicago Bulls have agreed with free agent Kyle Korver on new contract. The Creigton grad and 2003 draftee of the New Jersey Nets was one of the top free agent shooters remaining. A career 41% shooter from beyond the arc, he will join his Utah Jazz teammate Carlos Boozer on a Chicago Bulls team that appears to be getting better by the day despite not signing any of the "Big 3" free agents.
With these recent additions the Bulls could potentially be looking at a starting lineup of Derrick Rose, Kyle Korver, Luol Deng, Carlos Booer and Joakim Noah. This would undoubtedly be an already much improved team than the one that lost to the Cleveland Cavaliers in the first round of the playoffs. With Taj Gibson looking to improve on his All-Rookie team first year, he could become a very valuable asset coming off the bench. The Bulls may not have signed James, Wade or Bosh, but Paxson and Co. have done an outstanding job taking advantage of the deep free agent class to push the Bulls to the next level.
