Kreutz: 'We Have To Raise Our Level'
The New England Patriots are one of, if not the best team in the NFL. And they've been at the top of the league for some time now. Because of this, the Bears can look at Sunday's loss as a measuring stick, to gauge just how far they have to go to get to where they want to be.
"Our ultimate goal is to be the Super Bowl Champs," Olin Kreutz said. " And we have to raise our level, we see that now to be that. We want to win the [NFC] North and we want to get to the playoffs and we want to advance to the Super Bowl. But the ring is our ultimate goal."
The Bears went toe-to-toe with the NFL's best and were beat pretty decidedly. It was clear on Sunday that the Patriots were playing at another level, one that the Bears now have to strive to reach.
"A lot of times you don't understand the level that the guys, who are at the way top, are playing at," Kreutz said. "And now we've learned it and hopefully we can learn from it."
