Knox Knows Importace Of First Playoff Game
Johnny Knox may not have any experience playing in the playoffs, but that doesn't mean that he doesn't understand the importance of Sunday's game.
"It's going to mean a lot," Knox said. "You know, one of my biggest games that I'm going to ever play in."
With everything going on this week, added media attention, game preparation, and a shot at the NFC Championship game on the line, it could be easy for a young receiver to lose focus or succumb to the pressure. That's why Knox is only focusing on the things he can control.
"I'm going to try to go out there and just not put any pressure on my shoulders," Knox said. "And just go out there and have fun."
The best way for Knox to enjoy his playoff debut would be for him to have a big day and for the Bears to come away with a win. While most expect for the Bears to beat the Seattle Seahawks easily, the Bears know what their opponent is capable of.
"Their record really doesn't matter at this point," Knox said. "They made it into the postseason and they've showed that they can beat a pretty strong team like New Orleans."
