Kane And Sharp Named To All-Star Team

It look as if Jonathan Toews and Duncan Keith will have some company at the 2011 NHL All-Star Game.

It was announced to day that forwards Patrick Kane and Patrick Sharp will join Toews and Keith in Raleigh for the All-Star game. The NHL released the rest of the 36 players who will participate in the All-Star game. The league had previous released only six names, among the first six was Toews and Keith.

Each team will be comprised of 3 goalies, 6 defensemen and 12 forwards and will have one captain and two alternates to be chosen by the players and announced next week.

Sharp ranks 4th in the NHL with 25 goals, and 11th in the NHL with 44 points.

Also named to the All-Star game was former Blackhawk Dustin Byfuglien.

The All-Star game will take place on Sunday, January 30 at the RBC Center in Raleigh, North Carolina.
