Sources said police know the other three assailants in the shooting.
WBBM's Nancy Harty reports a small but passionate group of protesters stood near the intersection at 63rd and State Sunday afternoon carrying signs that said "All Lives Matter" mere feet from the spot where Bailey was killed.
The group was made up of mostly women who lost someone to gun violence. Pam Bosley still doesn't know who killed her son, Terrell, eight years ago. She wanted to know where are all the protesters who shut down parts of the Loop over police-involved shootings recently?
"Why shut that down? Let's shut down the South Side of Chicago where the killing is taking place," she said. "Why are we marching downtown? Let's march in our own community, go out here and get these people who murdered our children."
Demario was in the tenth grade at Johnson College Prep, according to the school. His and his twin brother's sixteenth birthday is Tuesday. Grief counselors were available at the school on Monday.
A memorial fund is raising money for Demario's family and has set up a website at youcaring.com.
