Federal Judge Upholds United Airlines' Employee COVID-19 Vaccine Mandate
CHICAGO (CBS)-- A federal judge has ruled that Chicago-based United Airlines can go ahead with its employee vaccine policy.
Six employees tried to sue the company after the airline said staff who received medical or religious exemptions would be placed on unpaid leave.
The airline said those 2,000employees could apply for non-customer facing roles, or be put on leave.
United says more than 96% of its U.S. workforce is vaccinated.
