Judge Bars Tax Preparer From Doing Others' Returns
SOUTH HOLLAND, Ill. (AP) - A judge has barred a suburban Chicago tax preparer convicted last year of falsifying tax returns from ever again filing anyone else's federal returns.
The Justice Department says U.S. District Judge William Hibbler found that LaShawn Littrice and her business in South Holland falsified expenses and deductions on her customers' returns.

Last year, Littrice - who operated Diamond Accounting & Financial Services - was convicted of several counts related to her business and sentenced to 42 months in prison.
The Justice Department also says the Internal Revenue Service found problems with all but 20 of the 718 tax returns she prepared - problems that added up to tax losses of $12 million.
Littrice could not be reached for comment.
