Johnson On Bulls' Fall: 'Unlike Anything I've Ever Been Around'
(WSCR) It's safe to say no one saw the Bulls' collapse coming.
Entering the playoffs, the Bulls appeared to be a lock to defeat the 76ers in the first round as they prepared to make a run at a championship.
"I'm telling you, I've never seen anything like this," K.C. Johnson of the Chicago Tribune told The Mully and Hanley Show. "Just the feeling of entering the playoffs after this rigorous regular season where you have so many guys down, finally getting healthy and just the momentum and the positivity surrounding this team going into the playoffs as the league's No. 1 seed and then the fall in just such a short time first with Derrick going down, then with Joakim going down and then the three straight losses, it's really unlike anything I've ever been around.

Even with the Bulls seemingly falling apart at the seams, Johnson said the Bulls still have a chance to get passed the 76ers.
"I'm really excited to see Tuesday's game because you can't get passed the fact that Philadelphia is not very good," Johnson said.
"I know the Bulls look like they are done and it feels like they're done and they're acting like they're done, it'll be interesting to see what they come with Tuesday night because, no matter what they are trying to do in terms of how poor they're playing, Philadelphia can't run away and hide."
