Johnson: No Talks Of Howard To The Bulls
(WSCR) Late Monday afternoon, a report surfaced that the Bulls may have interest in the Magic's soon-to-be free agent center, Dwight Howard.
While the Magic haven't come out and said they are shopping Howard, it appears that, for the right price, they would be willing to trade the 25-year-old, three-time defender of the year.
Though the idea of Howard and Derrick Rose teaming up for the next five years may seem appealing, one Bulls expert has some sobering news.
"I hate to be that somber voice, but -- I'm not saying it won't happen, but I have never heard Dwight Howard's name once," K.C. Johnson of the Chicago Tribune told The Mully and Hanley Show on Tuesday. "I don't get the sense that anything is in the works. ... It's more just that this makes sense. As far as any talks or reality, that has no progressed at this point."
