Johnson: Injuries No Problems For Bulls Thus Far
(WSCR) In a shortened NBA season, injuries are bound to happen.
Through the first 19 games of the season, the Bulls have had their fair share. Derrick Rose, Luol Deng, C.J. Watson and Joakim Noah have all struggled with injuries thus far, but one thing working in the Bulls' favor is their depth.
"This sounds like a broken record, but this team's depth has been the star," K.C. Johnson of the Chicago Tribune told The McNeil and Spiegel Show. "You've got guys stepping up every night. When you have John Lucas scoring 25 points one night to pick up for Derrick's absence, and then Mike James almost gets a double-double one week removed from a D-League showcase. This is almost unbelievable what the Bulls have done with injuries."
