The former Ravens linebacker never missed an opportunity to twist a situation into glorifying himself by giving passionate, verbose speeches both behind closed doors to his teammates and on camera for the world to see.
If you ever had trouble understanding what in the world Lewis was talking about, you're not alone.
"I love Ray, and I love how he always spoke from the heart, but if you listened to those speeches, a lot of them didn't even make sense," Ravens quarterback and reigning Super Bowl MVP Joe Flacco told ESPN the Magazine. "He meant everything he was saying, but I didn't know what he was talking about 90 percent of the time."
