Jesse Jackson Leads Debbie Halvorson In Key U.S. House Race
CHICAGO (CBS) -- A new poll shows incumbent Jesse Jackson Jr. leading challenger Debbie Halvorson in the race to represent Illinois' 2nd Congressional District.
However, there are plenty of voters who haven't yet made up their minds.
The survey -- conducted by an independent pollster and cited in the Sun-Times -- shows Jackson with 35 percent to Halvorson's 18 percent.
The poll of 600 potential voters combined live interviews and automated questioning.
