Jackknifed Semi Blocks Lanes On Bishop Ford Freeway
CHICAGO (STMW) -- Lanes were closed on the Bishop-Ford Expressway Tuesday morning after a semi-truck jackknifed near Sibley Boulevard.
The accident, which occurred about 5:15 a.m., blocked one southbound and two northbound lanes, according to Illinois State Police.
No injuries were reported, and no vehicles other than the semi were involved in the crash, state police said.
All southbound lanes were moving normally as of about 7:20 a.m., according to state police.
However, the northbound lanes remained blocked, and it was not clear when they would be reopened, state police said.
