'It's Time' For Bulls To Prepare For Playoffs
The Chicago Bulls have eight games remaining on their schedule, and have a two and a half game lead over the Boston Celtics and Miami Heat. But this is no time for them to get comfortable or complacent.
"We're trying to get better every game," Luol Deng said. "We know towards the end of the season we have to be smart."
The Bulls bounced back from an ugly loss to the Philadelphia 76ers with a 108-91 rout of the Minnesota Timberwolves on Wednesday night. That win was just another step in the Bulls getting ready for their next challenge.
"It's time to get better and get ready for the playoffs," Deng said.
The Bulls have been tremendously focused throughout the whole season, so it's not like they're going to shut everything down until the postseason. Players have already gone on record saying that they want to end the season with the best record in the NBA.
Each game remaining on their schedule gives the Bulls another chance to chase down the San Antonio Spurs, tune up for the playoffs and continue to exceed expectations.
