Irving Park Community Food Pantry Reopens Tuesday After New Year's Eve Fire
CHICAGO (CBS) -- A popular food pantry on the northwest side will reopen Tuesday after New Year's Eve fireworks shut it down last week.
The Irving Park Community Food Pantry said teens set off fireworks in recycling bins next to the church's front door.
That set the bins on fire and damaged the building's entryway. Normal services are expected to restart Tuesday and Wednesday.
