Irish Can Still Have Postseason
(WSCR) - Brian Kelly has been determined to take Notre Dame to a bowl this season, but things have looked uncertain with their struggling season. If they win one of the final two games of their season, they could still earn a postseason, giving them two more weeks of practice and get used to their new coach.

SOUTH BEND, Ind. (AP) Brian Kelly has talked about taking Notre Dame to a bowl since his arrival last December. Of course, he'd hoped to lead the Irish to a BCS game.
That's not going to happen with a 5-5 record and two games left, but the Irish can still earn a postseason trip with one victory in their final two games. And with that would come two more weeks of practice - an even bigger deal for a program still adjusting to its new coach.
After routing Utah 28-3 on Saturday - Notre Dame's first win over a ranked team since 2006 after 11 straight losses in those matchups - the Irish do have another home game this week. Well, sort of. They'll be the home team at Yankee Stadium against Army and its triple-option offense.
