Inspector General Report Reveals Range Of Misdeeds
CHICAGO (WBBM) -- Chicago Inspector General Joseph Ferguson has released his quarterly report of investigations into alleged missteps and misdeeds by city workers, agencies and city vendors.
The findings include a wide range of accusations, including:
Improper use of city computers to surf pornography;
Payroll tax fraud;
Using a city plow to clear a worker's driveway; and
Allegations that Office of Emergency Management and Communication circumvented competitive bidding rules to route a $23 million city contract to firm for a digital radio system.
