Indiana Man Shot And Killed Near His Home
EAST CHICAGO, Ind. (STMW) -- A 23-year-old East Chicago man was shot to death on a street corner several blocks from his home.
Carlos Velez III, of the 4400 block of Baring Avenue, had been shot several times and was pronounced dead at 11:15 p.m. Wednesday, a news release from the Lake County coroner states.
Police said they have some leads in the homicide that they are following, but asked that anyone with information about the man's death please call (219) 391-8318.
