In Playoffs, Bears Will Have To Raise Level
The Bears were the first team to clinch their division this season, which was already more than most people expected from them.
But now that they're in the playoffs, it looks like they'll eventually have to win on the road if they want to make it to Dallas.
"The Bears have been fortunate," Michael Lombardi, of Showtime's Inside The NFL, said on the Mully and Hanley Show. "I keep saying that the Bears are not a good road team. And everybody tweets me back saying 'You don't know what you're talking about. They're 6-1 on the road, they're one of the best.'"

With wins over Dallas, Carolina, Buffalo, Miami, Detroit and Minnesota, their road resume isn't the best in the league. They've won games on the road, but they'll be playing much better competition if they have to take to the road in the playoffs.
"I think when they have to play the level of the teams, when they get to the next level, in the playoffs it's going to be a little more difficult," Lombardi said.
But it's not as if the Bears have just backed their way into the playoffs like a team out of the NFC West will. The Bears may not have had the toughest schedule in the league, but they won the games they needed to, and that's all that matters.
"Take your hat off to what the Bears have accomplished," Lombardi said. "I mean defensively, they're playing well. Offensively, they've fixed their problems and Jay Cutler is proving to be the quarterback that we all thought he could be."
