Illini Ranked No. 16 In AP Poll
(CBS) Off to their first 6-0 start since 1951, the Illini moved up to No. 16 in the AP poll and No. 15 in the USA Today Coaches poll.
After it's 41-20 victory over Indiana on Saturday, Illinois moved up three spots in the AP poll.
The next challenge for the undefeated Illini will be Saturday against Ohio State -- a team they haven't beaten since 2007.
Pacing Illinois is the nation's top receiver, A.J. Jenkins, whose 815 receiving yards are good for best in the country. Quarterback Nathan Scheelhaase ranks fifth nationally in passing efficiency (175.83).
