Illini Move To No. 11 In AP Poll
(WSCR) After a loss to Missouri knocked them out of the Top 10, the Fighting Illini are inching closer back to that status.
As of today's Associated Press poll, the Illini moved up one spot to No. 11 following their victory over Auburn on Saturday at the United Center.
They start Big Ten play on Wednesday at Purdue, which will be no easy task as four Big Ten teams are ranked in the Top Ten, with Michigan ranked No. 2, Indiana No. 5, Ohio State No. 8 and Minnesota No. 9.
Michigan State is also ranked No. 18.
