Ike Biker Thrown Onto Kennedy In Fatal Crash
CHICAGO (STMW) - A biker was killed when he was thrown from his motorcycle on the Eisenhower Expressway and landed on the Kennedy Expressway Tuesday night at the Circle Interchange in the South Loop, police said.
The motorcycle was on the ramp from the westbound Eisenhower Expressway (I-290) to the southbound Kennedy Expressway (I-94) when the biker lost control and struck a concrete barrier about 7:30 p.m., according to a release from Illinois State Police.
The biker was thrown from the motorcycle and landed in the southbound lanes of the Kennedy Expressway, the release said.
State Police said the biker was killed in the crash, but the Cook County Medical Examiner's office had not been notified Tuesday night.
