Human Remains Found Buried In Gary Home
CHICAGO (CBS) -- A gruesome discovery in Gary: human remains buried inside a home.
Acting on a tip, police executed a search warrant on a home in the 3900 block of Calhoun Street and discovered the remains.
A person of interest was taken into custody and a forensic anthropologist was on the scene to coordinate the recovery efforts, officials said.
Police said there is no immediate threat to public safety, and the incident was an ongoing death investigation.
