Hull: Blackhawks Would Be 'Tough Team To Beat' In Playoffs

If the regular season were to end today, the Chicago Blackhawks would face the Phoenix Coyotes in the first round of the playoffs without home ice advantage.

But with nine games left, the Blackhawks can still improve their playoff seed.

"This team, it seems, when things are in a position when they have to play, they seem to be able to come to life and attack the way they played last year to win the Stanley Cup," Blackhawks legend Bobby Hull said on the Danny Mac Show.

The team has secured 14 points in their last 10 games and are starting to show more frequent flashes of the dominant squad from a season ago. So with all of the talent and experience still on the roster, not many Western Conference teams would be excited to see the Blackhawks in the first round.

"As long as this team can get into the playoffs," Hull said, "I don't care where they are, at home or on the road, as long as they attack, they're going to be a tough tough team to beat."
