"It's going to be interesting," Dan Pompei said on the Mully and Hanley Show. "Because in one sense, you look at the Patriots and you say, 'maybe they're a little vulnerable defensively against the run.' And you want to beef that up. The Bears' offense has been evolving and getting better each week, last week it was the offense who had to carry the team for parts of the game. And this week might be the same. We've seen Mike Martz and the offense do a great job of preparing and coming up with schemes for each individual opponent.
"[The Patriot's] offense is the best in the NFL, highest scoring offense in the league," Pompei said. "It's going to be interesting to see how the game evolves. I think this is going to be one of those games where you get into it, get a feel for it and then you adjust and you kind of make your gamplan up as you go."
